Blackheads are follicles that have wider opening than the normal. They are also known as open comedones. The oily skin and environmental pollution are the main cause of blackheads that gets worsened when proper hygiene is not maintained. Black heads are seen on the nose, ears or anywhere else on the body. These are embedded into the pores of the skin and therefore, the treatment for blackheads mainly work on the principle of cleaning those pores and purifying the blood.
Here are some simple and natural remedies for removing black heads.
- Take lemon juice, almond juice and glycerin in equal ratio and make a lotion of it. Apply it on the face. This lotion will not only cure blackheads but will also cure the discoloring spots on the face too.
- Apply some warm honey on effected area. Wash it after 15 minutes.
- Make a face wash by mixing fresh lime juice with a glass of boiled milk and use it for the removing black head.
- Take salt, lemon and honey and make a scrub of the mixture. Scrub the face for 5-10 minutes and later wash the face and pat it dry.
- Crush drumsticks pods and leaves. Mix it with fresh limejuice and apply on the trouble spots.
- Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Rub paste on the blackheads before sleeping and keep it overnight. Wash it next morning with warm water. Continue using of the paste for two consecutive weeks will remove blackheads.
- Rub paste of roasted and powdered pomegranate skin with fresh limejuice over blackheads.
- Use a granulated paste of coconut water with sugar and rub it on the face like a scrub. This helps to extirpate blackheads and clear skin.
- Mix almond powder in rose water. And apply it on face for 20 minutes.
- Use mild exfoliate cream to remove dead skin. Pat your face. Use a steamed towel to soften the black head. Again dry your skin. Use cottonball on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, because slipping could tear the skin and cause damage. Gently apply pressure from underneath to both sides of the black heads by pushing down then up around the blemish, in order to remove it.
