Kitchen tips

Hi, I would like to share my new discovery for preventing cerels,pulses and whole or ground spices from getting spoilt even during monsoon.Simply put a few pieces of whole turmuric and things will remain free of worms.

AFTER GETTING GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES,WASH AND CUT THEM INTO SMALL PIECES.THEN WRAP THEM IN A NEWSPAPER AND THEN PLACE IT IN A POLYTHENE BAG AND STORE IN FRIDGE. IT REMAINS FRESH FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS/
 
If u want a thick gravy add some maida to few tablespoons of water and mix well till maida dissolves, add this to loose gravy and it will become thick.
 
1.To cook onions fast add little salt or sugar while frying them in oil.
2.If your curds want to be curled earlier heat mlik till luke warm add 1 tea spoon of curds and close a lid to the vessel and keep the vessel in the hot box, it turns the curds faster, this tip is very useful in winter season and for those who live in cold areas.
 
Coriander leaves after getting from the market,immediately cut the roots and wrap it in the newspaper,store in the container.Keep the container in the fridge and use it when required.It will be farm fresh even after 15 days.
 
If salt is more in greavy then add some boiled or mashed potatoes in it. It will make salt less..
